As co-chairs of OBEA's 2010 PD Committee, we invite you to experience the many workshops, presentations, displays at the OBEA Spring Conference and interact with colleagues from across the province. With the new business curriculum implemented, we continue to bring you sessions that will provide a wealth of resources enabling you to effectively teach the revised curriculum.

New this year is a number of workshops emphasizing Differentiated Instruction. These workshops are identified in the brochure with DI inside a star. You will have the opportunity to gather classroom-ready resources designed by great teachers as well as learn what is new in technology and software!

The keynote speakers we have arranged are both highly informative and entertaining. On Thursday, April 22, Tom Hamza, President, Investor Education Fund, will talk to us about Raising the Bar on Financial Literacy. On Friday, April 23, Melissa Schenk, Entrepreneur, TV personality, and professor, will speak to us about the Power of Social Media in Business. We have again acquired a diverse collection of publishers, hardware and software vendors, post-secondary institutions and other businesses and organizations to contribute to our displays.
