School Accounting Modules CPA Canada's School Accounting Modules (SAMs), available in Simply Accounting and QuickBooks for Windows, are designed to serve as curriculum for secondary school students in Grades 11 and 12. Its five computer-based accounting modules allow students to learn and apply their accounting and business skills in the classroom. Author Tim Ireland, head of the business department at Eric Hamber Secondary School in Vancouver, credits the program with “getting students out of textbooks and giving them a hands-on and realistic sense of what an accounting business is like.” CPA Ontario is pleased to provide one copy of SAMs, per teacher, free of charge. The School Accounting Modules are available in electronic PDF format file or hard copy. This resource can be ordered online through CGA Ontario's website located at www.cga-ontario.org.
