Accounting Contest
Please complete the form below to identify the number of students from your school that you would like to register for the OBEA Accounting Contest(s). A list of logins will be generated and sent to you via email.
The online contest portal will be active on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 between 7am – 5pm. The link to the contest website will be posted on the OBEA website on the day of competition as well as emailed to all teachers that have registered students to participate.
*NEW THIS YEAR* The contest has been changed to 60 minutes so that teachers do not have to request multiple periods to be covered. With the shortened time frame, the contest will only be 60 Multiple choice questions plus the one short answer tie breaker question. All students from the same school are expected to be writing the contest during the same 60 minute time period while under teacher supervision.
A 20 minute, 20 question practice contest is scheduled for Wednesday, May 15, 2024 between 7am – 5pm. This optional practice is to give students an opportunity to interact and become familiar with the program before the actual contest. The questions will be based on Financial Literacy, not Accounting. Students do not need to be monitored for the practice but they will need a token generated through this registration process. No results for the practice will be shared.
